Sample viewExpiry dates, drop stages and alerts on one screen
No need to read raw WHOIS output. A timeline shows which stage each domain is in and when it will become available.
When does an unrenewed domain become available?
For extensions like .com and .net, an expired domain goes through a grace period, redemption (30 days) and pending delete (5 days), in that order. NicFollow alerts you at every step.
Get alerted on your phone before it expires
Alerts go out 60, 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before expiry, whenever the drop stage changes, and the moment a domain becomes available. Once per event.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about domain lookups, expiry dates and when expired domains drop.
How do I look up a domain?
Type the domain into the box on the home page and run the lookup. NicFollow checks the registry’s RDAP or WHOIS record and shows whether the domain is registered, its registrar, registration and expiry dates, status codes and name servers. No sign-up needed.
How can I find out when a domain expires?
The expiry date shows up in a WHOIS lookup. Add your own domains to NicFollow and you’ll get email and Telegram reminders 60, 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before they expire.
When does an expired .com domain become available?
For extensions such as .com and .net, an expired domain first enters a grace period of up to 45 days set by the registrar, then a 30-day redemption period and a 5-day pending delete queue. That’s why it usually becomes available 35 to 80 days after it expires; the exact day depends on the registrar.
What happens when a .com.tr domain expires?
An unrenewed .tr domain (.com.tr, .net.tr, .org.tr and others) stops working on its expiry date. It can be renewed at the normal price within the first 60 days; if it isn’t, it enters a 30-day deletion period during which it can’t be renewed. At the end of day 90 it is deleted and opens for anyone to register. NicFollow counts these days for you and lets you know when the domain becomes available.
How can I track domains that are about to drop?
Add the domain you want in “I want it” mode. You’ll get email and Telegram alerts when it expires, when it enters the redemption and deletion periods, and the moment it becomes available.
Why doesn’t the WHOIS record show the domain owner?
Because of data protection laws (KVKK and GDPR), most registrars hide the owner’s name and contact details. The registrar, registration and expiry dates, status codes and name servers stay visible.
